DAR plans Chirstmas in July event

The Chinkchewunksa Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold an annual open house event "Christmas in July" on July 12, 13, and 14 (Friday-Sunday) from 11-4 each day at the DAR Van Bunschooten Museum (1097 Route 23 Wantage).

The 3-day event will include: Complimentary tour of the historic home of Rev. Elias Van Bunschooten and our buildings given my docents in colonial costumes, Attic Treasurers Sale, Quilt Barn Sale, Food and Bake Sale, Historic Re-enactors and demonstrators.

This year we are having a special brunch with Santa Claus and George Washington on Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m. The cost for this is $5 a person and includes brunch, a craft and a gift from Santa for each child, and tons of photo opportunities with Santa and George Washington.
