Skylanders seeking first win

Newton. The Sussex County Community College men's lacrosse team suffered a 12-7 defeat to Delaware Tech to remain winless.

Delaware Technical Community College defeated Sussex County Community College in men's lacrosse on Saturday, April 13. The final score was 12-7.

Sussex County's first win remains elusive so far this season. This contest saw Sussex County score more points than in their earlier efforts. The Sussex Skylanders played the Delaware Seagulls tight and right for three quarters before running out of steam.

At 11 minutes left in the third quarter Sussex County trailed Delaware Tech, 8-7, but Delaware Tech stepped up their game and netted three more goals before the conclusion of the quarter.

The Sussex Skylanders were unable to penetrate the Delaware Seagulls' defense in the fourth. Delaware Tech netted one more goal to seal the deal.

The Sussex Skylanders record thus far this season is 0-4.
