High Point Regional High School defeated Vernon Township High School in boys varsity basketball on Saturday, Jan. 19. The final score was 67-46.

The ninth annual Pretty in Pink Classic took place at High Point Regional High School in Wantage Township.

The Pretty in Pink Classic was founded by former High Point basketball player Taylor Smith in 2010. The charity event has raised more than $300,000 for cancer awareness and research over the years.

High Point's Ethan Schipper scored 18 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and made 5 assists. Brendan Franko scored 17 points. Donald Bassani contributed 14 points.

Andre Pierce scored 14 points for Vernon. D.J. Springstead scored nine points.

Team records: High Point Wildcats 6-7. Vernon Vikings 4-8.
