WANTAGE — High Point Regional High School defeated Kittatinny Regional High School in girls varsity basketball on Saturday, Jan. 19. The final score was 39-33.

The ninth annual Pretty in Pink Classic took place at High Point Regional High School in Wantage Township.

The Pretty in Pink Classic was founded by former High Point basketball player Taylor Smith in 2010. The charity event has raised more than $300,000 for cancer awareness and research over the years.

Brittany Hill scored 12 points to lead High Point (7-6). Tyra Wingle scored 10 points. Leia Ruvo scored 6 points.

Kittatinny's Madison Smith scored a game-high 15 points.

The Cougars fell to 6-4.
