Hardyston senior group to celebrate 50 years

The Senior Citizens of Hardyston Township, who meet at the Littell Community Center on the first and third Mondays of each month, have announced plans for a celebration of their clubs 50th Anniversary with a dinner dance at the Casa Bianca Restaurant on Berkshire Valley Road in Jefferson at noon on Oct. 19.

The announcement was made at the June 19 club meeting by the club’s former secretary, Evelyn Verrico, who with her committee are hard at work to make this event something to remember. Former club presidents and community dignitaries are being sent invitations for the affair.
