On Saturday, Sept. 9, the Vernon Chamber of Commerce will present its Annual Street Fair & Farmer’s Expo. The Main Street area will be closed to traffic that day and will become a fair-like atmosphere with local businesses, crafts and treats, in addition to family friendly activities.

Children’s activities will include EaZy Bubbles, a Bounce House, Character Greetings hosted by the VTHS Theater Program, face painting, temporary tattoos and entertainment provided by VernonFM 107.9. Demonstrations will be presented by Ziegler Dance Center and Vernon Valley Karate.

Many of the local merchants and businesses will showcase their shops and will offer great buys and unique items.

Everyone can enjoy a selection of foods such as hot dogs, ice cream, vegan and gluten-free baked goods, soup, organic handcrafted chocolates and farm fresh honey. Don’t miss Healthy Thymes Market, The Scoop, Rose Mountain Chocolatier, ACME Market, and more.

Space is still available for interested vendors. Details and forms can be found at vernonchamber.com, or call 973-764-0764.
